The Chequers Inn prides itself on serving a great pint of real Yorkshire ale with regular hand pulled bitters on draft including John Smiths, Theakstons Best, Brown Cow Bitter, Leeds Best, and on occasion the pub also has a guest beer from a Yorkshire Brewery. The bar also serves lagers, ciders and a large selection of spirits and soft drinks.

The drinks menu varies seasonally along with the food. In summer you’re likely to find delights such as Pimms, local ciders and pale ales. As the winter months draw in you can discover the likes of darker ales and delicious mulled wine.
